    • Technical data: Electricity consumption records, roofing plans, building photos, heating systems, etc.
  • For professional clients sourcing photovoltaic equipment from Solar Depot:
    • Personal and business identification data: Surname, first name, address, phone number and business email, VAT number.

Why do we collect this data?

  • To establish accurate and personalized quotes.
  • To manage the technical installation and grid connection.
  • To provide after-sales service and maintenance.
  • To establish a commercial relationship (sale of photovoltaic equipment) and issue our sales invoices.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of your data is based on the following grounds:

  • Contractual performance: Necessary to carry out the ordered solar installation.
  • Legitimate interest: To respond to your inquiries via our contact form.
  • Legal obligation: For invoicing and compliance with Luxembourgish safety standards.

  • Public authorities: Environment Agency (Administration de l’Environnement) for the approval of subsidies.
  • Grid operator: (e.g., Creos) for the commissioning of the installation.

5. Retention Period

We retain your data:

  • Prospects: 3 years after the last contact.
  • Clients: For the entire duration of the contractual relationship, and then for 10 years after invoicing (legal retention period for accounting documents in Luxembourg).
